In late 2022, our journey began with just two passionate individuals—Stan Vee and Jane Saeli—who envisioned a well-organized AI tools directory. That’s how AI Tools Explorer was born.
At first, our goal was simple: to track and curate quality AI apps for personal use. But soon, we saw an opportunity to contribute to the global AI community. We chose a directory model to help everyday users navigate the rapidly growing AI landscape.
What Makes Us Different?
Unlike many AI directories that rely on scraping and automation, we have always taken a hands-on, human-curated approach. Throughout 2023’s AI explosion, when hundreds of new tools emerged every week, we stayed committed to manually reviewing and shortlisting AI apps—ensuring quality over quantity.
We focus on AI tools for general consumers rather than enterprise solutions. Plus, AI Tools Explorer is a strictly SFW (Safe for Work) directory—you won’t find any adult-oriented AI apps here.
